GIS Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Consultant - Digital Health Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of GIS-enabled dashboards within DHIS2 for health programs
• Conduct advanced spatial analyses and produce high-quality maps and visual reports
• Design and deliver training programs for health staff on GIS tools and applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS application within health information systems
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) and DHIS2 platform
• Experience with spatial data analysis and dashboard development
• Fluency in English and French required; Kirundi is an asset
