Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (East Coast).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite FHA and VA loans, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Underwrite additional loan types, including Bond and USDA, as needed
• Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of government underwriting experience
• Active CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sar designation for FHA and VA loans
• Recent experience with USDA and Bond underwriting preferred
• Proficient in DU and LP systems
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
