Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Info Tech II.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and repair invalid coded data elements in injured workers' claim data
• Resolve missing and invalid coded data elements in billing transactions
• Provide coding assistance and input accepted diagnosis codes for Federal employees

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Coding certification from an accredited organization or school
• 1 to 3 years of experience in medical coding and/or billing
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
