Healthcare Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Manager (Healthcare Payer) to manage and lead IT healthcare-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead multiple strategic IT healthcare-related projects from initiation through implementation
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of project plans, including scope documents, timelines, and budgets
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and key decisions, escalating when necessary and developing contingency plans

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Minimum 6 years of IT project management experience, specifically in healthcare-related projects
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• Project Management Certification preferred
• Experience in the medical insurance industry is preferred
• Four additional years of project management experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
