Job Summary

A company is looking for a Home Health Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments and clinician documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM codes
• Ensure coding aligns with CMS guidelines and supports the patient's plan of care
• Monitor coding edits and resolve coding-related rejections or denials in collaboration with staff

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active credential from AAPC or AHIMA
• Minimum of 2 years of ICD-10-CM coding experience in home health or post-acute care settings
• Strong understanding of OASIS documentation and CMS home health regulations
• Familiarity with coding software tools and EHR systems
