Information Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Assurance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity authorization services and act as a point of contact for cybersecurity authorization aspects of assigned information systems
• Develop, review, and coordinate ATO submissions and maintain compliance with security policies and procedures
• Continuously monitor system resources and implement automated reporting to support cybersecurity authorizations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in a related field
• US Citizen with DoD Secret Clearance
• Active security certification meeting DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE or CISSP)
• Technical knowledge in cybersecurity assessment, vulnerability scanning, or security operations
• Hands-on experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity tools such as eMASS and ACAS
