Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst in the Information Technology department.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor security controls to mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct research, development, and implementation of standards and audits related to information security
• Assist in evaluating systems and improving workflow and processes in collaboration with clinical and administrative staff

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or 2-5 years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
• Completion of ITIL course within one year of hire
• Strong understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure and Microsoft Active Directory is preferred
