Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer to provide security support for a government client in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure applications are configured and maintained according to FISMA Standards
• Complete security scans and deliver reports, updating POAMs and addressing vulnerabilities
• Prepare and deliver required FISMA documentation and maintain security documentation

Required Qualifications

• CISSP certification, current and completed
• Microsoft Certified Security Operations Analyst Associate
• U.S. Citizen able to obtain a security clearance (public trust level 5)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience in a Federal Azure Cloud environment and familiarity with security tools such as Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Defender
