Inpatient Coding Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Auditor & Educator.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on internal coders and analyze quality results
• Provide education and training to coders based on audit findings
• Collaborate with managers to identify performance needs and create training programs

Required Qualifications

• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification
• 2-5 years of experience in inpatient facility audits and coding
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in audit software
