Maine Technical Source is seeking a Construction Sales Specialist to work from Woburn, MA or Wappingers Falls, NY. This role is a great opportunity for a career-focused person with a ‘can do’ attitude to help MTS expand their business in the construction vertical.

Requirements of the Construction Sales Specialist: - 3+ years of experience selling to MEP contractors within the building design and construction space OR 3+ years of construction technology experience working in the AEC Industry
- Experience working with BIM (BIM management), GPS or 3D Scanning Solutions desired
- Experience working with Total Stations, Laser Scanning (Survey Equipment) desired
- Prior field layout experience in MEP or general contracting desired
- Experience in AutoCad, Revit and Navisworks desired
- Experience with Microsoft Office is required
- Experience with construction technology andnavigating job sites a plus.
- Ability to travel throughout New England and upstate New York. Attend trade shows annually.
- Proven success in building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships.
- Must be a team player and able to work in fast paced distribution type setting
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and retain clean motor vehicle report
Benefits of the Construction Sales Specialist: - Base salary of $60,000 - $70,000 plus commission, based on experience.

Responsibilities of the Construction Sales Specialist: - Conducting sales calls and closing sales orders by assessment of customer needs and matching identified needs with solutions.
- Visit construction project sites to demonstrate products and solutions with all trades.
- Conduct presentations and demos with engineering and design teams and consult on best practices, project workflows and solutions to construction project challenges.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by helping them to incorporate practices into their workflows through leveraging strong industry knowledge, in-depth technology product knowledge and business acumen.
- Achieves sales objectives by contributing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
- In person delivery, set up and training of equipment
- Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and opportunities
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned
