Lead External Reporting Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead External Reporting Analyst, GAAP and STAT.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to consult on accounting for new transactions/products and prepare accounting memorandums
• Lead purchase accounting conclusions and prepare disclosures related to business acquisitions
• Analyze financial results and prepare US GAAP disclosures for Forms 10-Q/K

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA designation required
• 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or SEC reporting, preferably in the insurance industry
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement disclosures
• Ability to oversee junior team members and interact with auditors
