Licensed Behavioral Health Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Clinical Consultant for Disability Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze short-term and long-term disability claims to assess the impact of medical conditions on claimants' functionality
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and claimants to promote accountability for treatment plans and facilitate return-to-work goals
• Provide training and mentoring to claims staff on the medical aspects of disability and proactively resolve customer issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A minimum of 5 years in direct patient care settings
• BSN with a strong Behavioral Health background preferred, or LCSW or other licensed Behavioral Health professional with disability claims experience
• Strong knowledge of medical conditions related to disability products
• Experience with DCMS, Claim Facts, and iProcess preferred
• Disability experience strongly preferred
