Job Summary
A company is looking for an Electrical Substation Project Engineer - Protection & Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and refine complete P&C design packages, including diagrams, schematics, and material lists
- Engineer AC/DC power schemes and control-power distribution that meet industry standards
- Run protection-coordination studies and develop relay settings using relevant tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 6+ years of experience designing high-voltage substation P&C systems
- Proficiency with protective-relay configuration, CAD workflows, and power-system analysis tools
