Licensed Psychiatrist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatrist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for low to moderate acuity patients using virtual platforms, including managing complex cases and collaborating with other healthcare professionals
• Conduct quality assurance, make critical decisions regarding patient care, and prepare necessary documentation and reports in compliance with regulations
• Attend staff meetings for case discussions and continuous education, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and protocols

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
• Completion of an accredited internship and residency in Psychiatry
• Two years of experience providing Psychiatry via virtual platforms, preferably within the Military Health System (MHS)
• Current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatrist
