Licensed Therapist for Veterans

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Licensed Therapist Contractor specializing in Veteran and Military Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
• Conduct cognitive screenings and thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs
• Offer emergency and crisis interventions, including psychotherapy and case management services

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be licensed to practice independently in any state (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Must have a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology
• Minimum of 2 years' experience practicing therapy independently
• Experience providing therapy to veterans and military members is preferred
• Familiarity with DSM5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
