Licensing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensing Specialist to manage software and hardware licensing operations in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate inventory of licenses, including usage, renewal dates, and costs
• Review vendor invoices and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure accurate client billing
• Create reports on licensing costs and renewal schedules to support strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, software licensing, procurement, or billing operations
• Experience with an MSP or IT services organization is preferred
• Familiarity with licensing from vendors such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and others
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools for data analysis
• Strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies and optimize spending
