Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for borrowers in the loss mitigation process, including package collection and foreclosure
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist delinquent mortgage loan borrowers and document interactions in the servicing system
- Communicate loss mitigation terms, options, and the foreclosure process to borrowers while ensuring compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mortgage collections experience is preferred
