Manager of Medical Economics

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Medical Economics (Medicaid) to provide analytical support and consultation to the Health Plan and Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data and dashboard reports to monitor health plan performance and identify medical cost trends
• Conduct complex analyses of insured medical populations to identify opportunities for financial performance improvement
• Lead projects and provide data-driven analytics to support decision-making across various departments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Healthcare Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3 years of management or team leadership experience
• 10 years of analytical work experience within the healthcare industry
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PowerBI report development
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and SDLC concepts
