Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Analyst to support its Aviation business strategy by evaluating risk and underwriting profitable business.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and price business while adhering to company policy and state regulations
• Underwrite insurance risks, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Research market intelligence and contribute to special projects for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Insurance industry experience preferred
• Working knowledge of insurance products and underwriting processes
• Understanding of laws and regulations related to the area of responsibility
• Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes
