Medical Librarian

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Research and Instruction Librarian for Medical & Health Sciences.

Key Responsibilities of Position

• Develop and deliver instructional programs targeting evidence-based research-intensive courses
• Provide in-person and online instructional sessions on information and digital literacy
• Create and maintain user-friendly online learning objects and promote library resources through outreach initiatives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution, or equivalent
• At least one (1) year of experience teaching or providing instruction in an academic or medical library
• Educational background in health or life sciences is preferred
• Three (3) or more years of professional library experience is preferred
• Familiarity with technology that enhances research and learning experiences
