Mortgage Product Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Product Analyst with mortgage underwriting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines to test mortgage underwriting tools and validate accuracy
• Review borrower documentation and ensure correct application of underwriting rules
• Translate complex underwriting requirements into actionable product specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience, including FHA and VA
• Experience in reviewing borrower documentation such as W-2s, tax returns, and appraisals
• Strong expertise in income analysis, credit evaluation, collateral review, and AUS findings
• Experience testing technology products or tools is a plus
• Tech-savvy with the ability to critique mortgage software
