Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter (Remote - WA, ID, OR, CA).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite residential loan applications to ensure compliance with various standards and regulations
• Support loan production staff in residential underwriting matters
• Assist loan officers and processors with complex or problematic loans

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma required (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 4 or more years of experience in mortgage underwriting required
• Intermediate knowledge of 1-4 family loan underwriting guidelines
• Proficient in MS Office products including Word and Excel
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to underwriting
