New Jersey Licensed Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervising Mental Health Specialist (First Responders).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, and supervision to assigned staff within the First Responder Peer Services team
• Ensure effective handling of telephone calls and service requests in a consumer-friendly manner
• Assess and respond to service requests and referrals according to established procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant social or health care field and one year of full-time experience in a psychiatric or health care setting
• Must be a retired Law Enforcement Officer with no sustained Internal Affairs offenses
• At least three years of lived experience in law enforcement, correctional officer, firefighter, or EMS professional
• Active New Jersey certification/licensure in Social Work, if applicable
• Valid driver's license required
