New Mexico Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Health Plan - Remote Eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and revisions to Medical Policies
• Assist in initiatives to ensure accessibility of quality, affordable care and coverage for customers and members
• Provide clinical leadership and promote best practices across the organization

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification
• Five years of clinical practice experience in pediatric and adult medicine after residency training
• Currently licensed to practice in New Mexico without restriction
• Experience in a managed care setting strongly preferred
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
