New York Licensed Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer to oversee engineering teams and ensure compliance in telecommunications and electrical infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality engineering services and a safety-minded culture
• Provide professional engineering oversight, including technical validation and compliance assurance for deliverables
• Oversee the design and execution of telecommunications and electrical projects, ensuring adherence to regulations and client requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field required; Master's Degree preferred
• 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including team management
• 5+ years of telecommunications industry experience preferred
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license, with a requirement to hold a State of New York PE license
• Demonstrated expertise with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and telecom regulations
