New York Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Product and Medical Affairs Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance on compliance with U.S. healthcare laws and regulations for commercial, medical, and corporate teams
• Serve as the legal representative in cross-functional Promotional and Scientific Review processes
• Support the execution of a robust healthcare compliance program and provide legal training to personnel

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree required with 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, including 3+ years as in-house counsel in pharma/biotech
• Thorough understanding of regulatory and legal frameworks governing the sales and marketing of approved and investigational medicines
• Admitted to a state bar, preferably NY, MA, PA, NJ, or NC
• Experience with legal review of promotional materials and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple complex tasks
