Nuclear Integration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear Plant Design Integration Engineer for a long-term, fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with team members to develop nuclear island plant integration deliverables focusing on design engineering, licensing, and configuration management
• Provides support for activities led by other departments, including licensing, design engineering, safety analysis, and PRA
• Develops plant-level integration design deliverables in collaboration with plant design departments, including plans, strategies, and design documents

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in nuclear facility design or operation
• BS degree in nuclear, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or a Senior Reactor Operator's license/equivalent
• Working understanding of NRC regulations and guidance
• Strong initiative, independence, and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work in a conceptual design and first-of-a-kind environment requiring sound engineering judgment and innovation
