NY Licensed General Liability Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Liability Claims Examiner to analyze and process claims for clients in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to determine exposure and achieve timely resolutions
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients, and report claims to excess carriers

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of multiple jurisdictions, including New York
• Willingness to obtain necessary licensing, including New York, if not already held
