Oncology Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director II, Clinical Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific leadership for innovative clinical research studies
• Serve as clinical lead for technology-enabled clinical trials, overseeing study design and data interpretation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to strategic development and growth of the Clinical Research unit

Required Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MD) with Oncology subspecialty training
• 5-7+ years of experience in clinical research or drug development, with at least 5 years in an industry setting
• Experience with healthcare technology and innovative trial design
• Empathy for challenges faced by oncologists and research staff
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
