Oral Care Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist, Oral Care R&D.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and formulate new consumer products in the cosmetic and OTC categories
• Identify and assess new product opportunities and technologies, including supplier and contract manufacturer management
• Provide technical leadership in new product development projects, including budgeting and project status communication

Required Qualifications

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in formulation and development of consumer or pharmaceutical products
• Knowledge of patents, U.S. Pharmacopeia, and USFDA regulations
• Experience managing outside contractors and suppliers
• Strong knowledge of GMP and GLP
