Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Bioinformaticist to lead the development of biomedical ontology and knowledge graph infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain biomedical ontologies focused on longevity and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with clinical experts to create structured ontological representations of medical knowledge
• Partner with data engineering teams to define ETL requirements for knowledge graph population

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or biomedical informatics
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a related field
• Experience with Gremlin/Cypher and graph databases like Azure Cosmos DB/Neo4j
• Expertise in ontology engineering and semantic web technologies
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining biomedical knowledge graphs or ontologies
