Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Accounting Tutor to provide remote tutoring services to students in accounting subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor students in U.S. university level accounting courses using the Socratic method
• Conduct online sessions via a virtual classroom platform, utilizing video, audio, and chat features
• Maintain availability for tutoring sessions during peak times, specifically Sunday to Thursday evenings

Required Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about U.S. tax code and accounting principles
• Advanced knowledge in accounting through education or professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a suitable environment for tutoring
• Ability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or experience tutoring at the college level
