Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Chemistry Tutor to provide remote tutoring sessions to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to enhance students' critical thinking skills
• Manage availability to tutor during peak hours, primarily Sunday to Thursday evenings
• Utilize the virtual classroom platform effectively, including video, audio, and chat functionalities

Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in chemistry, demonstrated through an undergraduate or graduate degree or professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutorials
• Ability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or experience tutoring at the college level
• Excellent academic performance in relevant coursework
