Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Physics Tutor to provide remote tutoring sessions to students.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking
• Manage tutoring availability based on student demand, primarily between Sunday and Thursday evenings
• Utilize the company's virtual classroom tools, including video, audio, and chat functionalities

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in physics, demonstrated through an undergraduate or graduate degree or relevant professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutoring sessions
• Ability to tutor a minimum of 2-5 hours per week during peak academic semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or experience tutoring at the college level
• Responsive to session requests and able to manage scheduling effectively
