Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Trainer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a standardized educational program for onboarding new hires in the Middle Revenue Cycle Coding Operational Team
• Provide continuing education to coders on regulatory requirements, coding guidelines, and payer requirements
• Act as a mentor and technical resource, ensuring accurate and current information for all coding personnel

Required Qualifications

• Professional certification in acute coding through AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC, CCS-P)
• 5+ years of acute coding experience in a large multi-specialty hospital or equivalent organization
• 2+ years of experience in delivering coding education
• Advanced knowledge of coding classifications, guidelines, and payment methodologies
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
