Oregon Licensed Provider Educator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Educator (Coding Coordinator).

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding education for new providers and deliver updates on coding and regulatory changes
• Conduct audits and reviews to enhance compliance and develop educational materials for stakeholders
• Collaborate across departments to identify training needs and advocate for policy changes that support provider needs

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field; AND 5 years of production coding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in CPC, CPC-H, RHIT, or RHIA
• Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and documentation requirements
• Intermediate skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and commitment to continuous learning
