Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist (remote).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, assisting with scheduling, pre-registration, and registration
  • Provide outstanding customer service in a high-volume call center environment
  • Help patients navigate their healthcare journey effectively
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of general clerical, customer service, or medical experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Prior experience in a call center or high-volume patient contact by phone is preferred
  • Epic certification and HFMA certification are preferred
  • Knowledge of Arizona Medicaid programs, Medicare, and other government programs is required
