Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
• Document account actions and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with special projects and communicate findings to enhance job knowledge and performance

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
• Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance processes
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
