Key Responsibilities
  • Complete claims and documents billing activity according to regulations and guidelines
  • Review trends related to denials and insurance credit balances, taking necessary actions to resolve accounts
  • Contact payers for account status inquiries and manage the appeal process for problem accounts
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, specifically Epic billing, preferred
  • Ability to perform data analysis and interpretation related to hospital or physician accounts
