Payment Posting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Physician Services Payment Posting Representative Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret explanation of benefits (EOB) to post payment and denial codes
• Enter data into the system following specified formats and reconcile cash batches
• Identify and resolve incomplete information necessary for posting remittance

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Over 1 year of experience in healthcare insurance billing
• Strong data entry skills with proficiency in 10 key skills
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, or medical terminology preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
