Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a key legal partner to product, compliance, and engineering teams developing new payments-related offerings
• Provide legal advice for launching payment products and programs globally
• Review new products and initiatives, assessing legal risks and offering guidance to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience with a focus on payments and blockchain
• JD or equivalent with admission to practice law in the United States
• Deep understanding of U.S. federal and state payments laws
• Experience advising product and engineering teams on legal requirements in payment network design
• Experience with blockchain or crypto-related legal and regulatory matters
