Payroll Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Analyst for a 3-month remote contract supporting North American payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the bi-weekly payroll processing for 1,600+ employees across the U.S. and Canada
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by auditing payroll data and resolving discrepancies before submission
• Support the transition from UKG to ADP Lyric, including testing, system validation, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll experience with a strong background in multi-state payroll
• Hands-on experience with Canadian payroll regulations and reporting requirements
• Proficiency in UKG (Ultimate Software) or ADP Lyric payroll systems
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax compliance
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF/THEN formulas)
