Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist I to manage payroll processing and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain payroll-related accounts and process multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation
- Manage payroll records, including salary changes and terminations, while resolving client payroll issues
- Collect and process new hire paperwork and maintain compliance documents in payroll systems
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree is a plus
- Minimum of three years of experience in payroll processing and related tasks
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Working knowledge of payroll systems and Department of Labor regulations
- Bilingual and experience with job costed and certified payrolls preferred
