Reinsurance Claims Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reinsurance Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and review necessary claim information for excess loss claims submission to reinsurance carriers
• Prepare and send monthly specific and aggregate stop loss reports for brokers, carriers, and clients
• Monitor the reinsurance process to ensure timely filings and analyze high dollar claims for maximum reimbursement

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent with 2 to 5 years of experience in medical/dental claims auditing or insurance account management
• Basic knowledge of office software including word processing and spreadsheets
• Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Working knowledge of ERISA claims processing/adjudication guidelines
• Experience with reinsurance reporting is a plus
