Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Reporting Specialist to investigate and resolve payroll tax issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex payroll tax problems for internal and external customers
- Conduct research and analysis for payroll tax projects, including year-end processing and W-2 generation
- Recommend solutions to payroll and tax system issues and provide training to HR and colleagues
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED with three years of payroll or payroll tax experience and one year of customer service experience, or an Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with two years of payroll experience
- Experience with payroll systems and tax application software
- Solid understanding of payroll tax laws (federal, state, and local)
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
