Project Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle financial tasks for assigned consulting projects and programs, coordinating with team members and external stakeholders
• Monitor and maintain contract funding, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reports
• Assist with project journal entries and reconcile project details across financial systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
• Experience with accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Certinia
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and accrual accounting
• Experience with government contracting requirements is a plus
