A company is looking for a Post-Award Grants and Contracts Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the post-award grant process, including research, preparation, submission, and follow-up on grants
- Maintain records and communicate with funders, ensuring compliance with sponsor and grant guidelines
- Establish relationships with foundations and private contributors, and coordinate with various departments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalency) plus 2 years of related work experience, or a master's degree (or equivalency)
- For higher levels, a bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years or a master's degree plus 2-4 years of related work experience is required
- Experience in post-award administration of grants and contracts
- Experience in an academic institution and involvement with federal research is preferred
- Ability to work in a compliance-driven environment
