Principal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to the Revenue team, ensuring compliance with accounting policies
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue and regulatory accounts
• Assist in the preparation of rate cases and regulatory filings, and support financial statement audits

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a regulated utility preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Advanced degree and CPA or CPA candidate preferred
