Principal Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Network Engineer - Voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise voice systems, integrating legacy and modern IP-based telephony solutions
• Oversee deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management of telephony systems to ensure optimal performance
• Act as the subject matter expert for enterprise voice services, advising stakeholders and leading vendor engagements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in telephony engineering supporting hybrid environments
• Advanced proficiency in legacy PBX and modern IP telephony systems
• Demonstrated experience in integrating hybrid voice environments and migrating PBX to IP voice solutions
• Preferred certifications include Avaya Certified Support Specialist and Cisco CCNP Collaboration
