Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer-AI to lead the design and delivery of intelligent platform capabilities for consumer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead backend architecture for AI/ML-powered features across mobile and API surfaces
• Own the technical strategy for embedding LLMs and personalized content delivery
• Collaborate with product and design teams to scope features and ensure execution aligns with business impact

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend development, with at least 2+ years in AI/ML solutions or LLM
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
• Strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs
• Deep familiarity with AWS architecture, including Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB
• Experience building and integrating LLM features, including prompt design and vector storage strategies
